The bird and the beast, the second world event in the game. Watch the opening and finale cutscenes of this world-changing event now in high-quality!
The battle of Lumbridge between Saradomin and Zamorak was only the beginning. After the Mahjarrat Sliske declared the beginning of his contest during his grand ascendancy, Bandos would stop at nothing to win and claim the stone of Jas, he quickly constructed a tower-sized weapon running on divine energy which was capable of killing gods. After Armadyl heard of this, he immediately constructed a similar weapon in attempt to destroy his bitter rival before he could destroy him. With the towers placed and the weapons pointing at each other, the weapon that would be charged with enough divine energy before the other would be the winner, resulting in the death of the other god.
After six weeks, it was Armadyl's weapon that would be fired first, and Bandos was the one doomed to fall. The first kill of the contest has been made, and Armadyl claimed the first point!
'The bird and the beast' was the second world event in the game after the 'Battle of Lumbridge', lasting six weeks this time, players had to help the convoys of their faction collect enough divine energy, the faction with the most divine energy at the end would win. The event is now over, with Bandos' shattered head still lying nearby the Goblin village. This video contains the opening and finale cutscenes shown at the beginning and end of the event.
I am planning to upload the cutscenes from the Battle of Lumbridge as well. However, those cutscenes aren't being played correctly in the game at this moment, so I will have to wait until it is fixed before recording them.
