Inmotion RS Scooter - Error code 117/217 Part 2
Many Inmotion RS scooter users have experienced error 117 or 217 error code. This's due to defective Raptor motor's controller. I swapped the front/rear controller, and the error code has changed from 117 to 217 which mean that the motor or cable has nothing to do with this.
Inmotion RS controller has very high failure rate. If you experience this error code, contact your dealer for replacement controller, there is no other way to fix it.
The thermal paste applied from the factory also not in contact with chassis. So, no heat transfer. You may need to put on thermal pad instead. It's thicker and gives better contact on uneven surface
