I wrote a script to convert LaTeX shortcuts to unicode symbols in your browser. With the script installed, simply press ALT+X while your cursor is on a LaTeX command or you have highlighted LaTeX commands and the selection will be converted to the unicode equivalent (ex. \pi → π).
1) Install Tampermonkey:
Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/de...
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
Edge: https://www.tampermonkey.net/index.ph...
Safari: https://www.tampermonkey.net/index.ph...
Opera: https://www.tampermonkey.net/index.ph...
The chrome extension will work on all Chromium browsers including Brave (https://brave.com/jla662)
2) Create a new script from the Tampermonkey popup
3) Paste the contents of this script into the editor: https://github.com/DenverCoder1/LaTeX...
(Alternatively, install from GreasyFork: https://greasyfork.org/en/users/66865...)
4) Save the script
5) Type shortcuts (most commands are preceded by backslash)
The full list of supported shortcuts can be found here:

The code is all open source and safe to install and use. Permission is granted to share the code only with attribution by linking to my video.
