Using two MOT's in series, I can now charge to full voltage. This device is quite loud now, and some echoes can be heard in the video. I started with steel wire and a circuit board. A nasty bug of some sort got up my shirt and bit me while I was making the video. Naturally this bug wound up on a grounded steel plate and received the full discharge power of the cap bank. It was disintegrated. A real high power bug zapper. The electrolytic caps on the circuit board explode quite nicely, I wore a face shield to protect from the flying shrapnel. The next mod will be to increase the capacitance of the bank, from 21uf to 52 uf. Lots of fun, but this was not done at home. Do not try this yourself unless you are very familiar with HV safety. The first accident with HV caps is fatal ... You do not get a second chance from capacitors!
