It’s National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, and we’re excited to share Sylvester’s story! 🧡
After suffering a stroke, Sylvester came to Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute for intensive rehabilitation. Once a minor league player for the Oakland A’s, he worked with our incredible team to regain strength and independence. In just 16 days, he went from needing help with everyday tasks to walking 200 ft and sharing his baseball skills with a young player. ⚾
