Laureus Sport for Good and Nike co-host 'Coach the Dream: Changing Sport for Girls' in Tokyo
（英語の後に日本語が続きます) Laureus Sport for Good and Nike co-hosted the “Coach the Dream: Changing Sport for Girls Summit” in Tokyo – an inspirational event to drive even greater positive change for girls across Japan through the power of sport and play.
During the summit, local coaches engaged in discussions with experts and athletes and marked a celebration of five years since the launch of Play Academy with Naomi Osaka – an initiative in partnership with Naomi Osaka, Nike and Laureus Sport for Good.
Girls from the local community also had the opportunity to participate in a day of sport and activities with multi-Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka; Laureus Academy Member and five-time Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin; and Olympic sprinter and Laureus Ambassador Dai Tamesue.
The “Japanese Coaching Guide for Girls” was unveiled at the summit, a research-backed resource which aims to provide coaches in Japan with the skills and knowledge to create a more inclusive and supportive sport environment for girls.

ローレウス・スポーツ・フォー・グッド財団とナイキは、東京で「女の子のためにスポーツを変えるウィーク-COACH THE DREAM-」スポーツと遊びの力を通じて日本の女の子たちにさらに大きなポジティブな変化をもたらすことを目指した、インスピレーションに満ちたイベントを開催しました。
このサミットでは、地域のコーチたちが専門家やアスリートと意見交換を行い、さらに、大坂なおみ、ナイキ、ローレウス・スポーツ・フォー・グッド財団のパートナーシップで設立されたプレー・アカデミーの5周年も祝われました。
また、地域の女の子たちもグランドスラム4勝を果たした大坂なおみ選手に加え、ローレウス・アカデミーメンバーでオリンピックで5つの金メダルを獲得したローレウスアカデミーメンバーのミッシー・フランクリン氏、そして ローレウスのアンバサダーである短距離走者の為末大氏と共にスポーツやアクティビティを楽しみました。
さらにサミットでは、研究に基づいた「女の子のスポーツ参加を促す指導者ガイド」が発表され、日本のコーチが女の子たちにとってより包括的で支援的なスポーツ環境を築くためのスキルと知識を提供することを目指します。
