Canon EOS R + RF 24-70 f2.8 Lens + C-LOG | Missionary Homecoming Film
Canon EOS R and the Canon RF 24-70 f2.8 lens work super well together! I rented them to test them out on some upcoming projects as I am trying to save and afford an upgrade!
The results in C-Log were amazing for a camera that isn't that expensive on the second-hand market. I ended up purchasing the EOS R body for about $750 after using it on this shoot!
The lens is crazy expensive though, so I ended up getting an RF to EF mount adapter with the control ring to adapt the lenses I already own.
I used Davinci Resolve for editing and color grading. The first few clips were in 4k finest mode in 24fps and the rest are in 1080p at 60fps, I did mess up the shutter speed in the moment and had it set to lower than 180 degree rule, so I was only able to slow down the majority of the clips to 80% speed to get a slight slow motion effect. But it worked really good aside from my user error!
