For familiarization you need:
- call the reception in strict accordance with the NFP. The correct name of the method being studied contributes to the creation of a certain initial idea of it;
exemplary show reception in general.
explain the practical application (to give a tactical rationale for admission). The leader informs that hand-to-hand fighting techniques during the school year are checked on a mandatory basis with servicemen serving in conscription, contract (1–3 age groups), cadets and students of military schools;
- show the technique once again in parts or in divisions with a fair explanation of the technique of its implementation. The technique is shown with the fixation of the main elements and actions, with a description of the technique of their implementation and in the sequence in which the technique will be unlearned. Learning is aimed at developing new motor skills in students and improving the technique for performing the technique. Learning the technique, depending on the readiness of the students, is carried out as a whole, in parts, in divisions or with the help of preparatory exercises at a slow, fast and fighting pace. The method is studied as a whole - if the method is simple, it is available for students or its implementation by elements (parts) is impossible; in parts - if the technique is complex and it can be divided into separate elements;
on divisions - if we accept complex and it can be done with stops; with the help of preparatory exercises - if, in general, because of the difficulty, the technique cannot be performed, but it cannot be divided into parts.
The manager chooses the method of learning for each reception independently.
Training (improvement) of reception is aimed at consolidating the motor skills of the students, improving physical and special qualities. Training consists in repeated repetition of the technique with a gradual complication of the conditions for its implementation and an increase in physical activity. The performance of the learned technique in combination with other previously learned techniques and actions is a characteristic feature of the hand-to-hand combat training technique. Further improvement is carried out in a comprehensive training session, which is held at the end of the main part of each lesson. It can be carried out in two ways: - by successively performing the learned techniques in the process of various speed movements both on specially prepared places (in an equipped hall, on an obstacle course, on a site for hand-to-hand combat, etc.), and on various terrain;
in the form of a training bout on conditional and unconditional actions. In both cases, the military solves the assigned tasks depending on the actions of the “real enemy”. When conducting a complex training, a gradual increase in the complexity of the exercises, an increase in the combination of techniques, and a change in the conditions for their performance and environment are envisaged. In the course of complex training in order to develop resourcefulness, initiative, and quickness of orientation in the constantly changing environment, the non-programmed, initiative actions are widely used both by signals, teams of the leader of the occupation, and independently for unexpected attacking or counterattacking actions of the “enemy”.
