Well kinda. This isn't a tutorial... just a bit of fun as you are unlikely to be able to pull this off in multiplayer unless you get REALLY lucky and know their approximate altitude. Even in single player vs AI you probably wont be able to do it other than in a test situation....just an interesting experiment. The RWR is enough to give you the azimuth and you can roughly guestimate range with the TPOD image size (with practice). The AMRAAM was launched from 8.7nm and fell short. Sidewinder launched from 8.1nm and was good for a bit more....but the AMRAAM going pitbull is a convenient cue to launch and flee..it will NOT catch you are fast and you turn IMMEDIATELY.
