Elite Dangerous - New Player Experience - Commander Wipe
I have been playing Elite Dangerous since the early Kickstarter days and indeed was one of those fortunate people to be in a position to pay £250+ for Alpha access and all sorts of bonuses. So why am I deleting my only Commander of some 5 years?
Because I'm bored, to be honest, I want to see what the New Player Experience feels like for, uh, new players.
So, even though I had 3 'free' Federal ships at Recruit rank, I am wiping the save. Next week Frontier will no doubt say - of course you can all have multiple Commanders!
In this first video, we are walked through a basic tutorial and it feels kinda nice... Timestamps in the comments.
