Do this on SOFT SNOW to get a feel for the conditions. Straight-line in gentle terrain and bounce on the downhill ski, then the uphill ski, then bounce on both skis together. You’ll get a feel for how hard or soft the snow is so you know how to adapt your technique accordingly.
