Some of the States of Mexico have an anthem that represents the patriotic song of the State, where the history and the outstanding symbols of that State are narrated. In these States the state anthem has an official character but is inferior to the Mexican National Anthem, which always takes precedence.
NOTE: All the flags shown are unofficial proposals, except for those of the states of Jalisco, Guanajuato, Tlaxcala and Yucatan, and of course, the flag of Mexico.
