In this video, I will show you How to Scan a Document as PDF using Printer on Windows 11.

If you want to scan a document using your printer but drivers and other extra software confusing you, then follow along. I will show you how to easily scan documents using the scanner in your printer and save the scanned document as PDF.
The very first thing you need to do is open Start and then launch the Microsoft Store.
Search for Windows Scan app and then install it.
After the app has been installed, simply open it up.
In your printer now place the document over the scanner and make sure the printer is powered on, and connected to your PC.
Now, in the Windows Scan app, click on Preview. The printer will now start the scan and will show it to you.
You can adjust the area you want to include.
Now, from the left side, you choose the PDF option to save the file. Apart from PDF, you can also select some other options as well such as PNG, XPS, etcetera.
Finally, click on the Scan button and then give it a few seconds.
It will save the scanned document as PDF now.
To see the scanned PDF file, open Explorer and then go to the Pictures folder. Here you will see a newly created scans folder.
Open this folder and in this, you will find the document that you just scanned.
Open this file in PDF viewer or the browser. You will see a very high quality scanned document.
In this way, you can now scan your documents using a printer and save it as a PDF file on your computer.
