This video explains How to find an Engine Cylinder Misfire on Gasoline Powered Engines.
This video applies to both, older Engines equipped with a Carburetor and Newer Engines Equipped with Electronic Fuel Injection Systems.
Fuel Injected Engines usually set a trouble code when the misfire is severe enough, the misfire codes are as follows:
P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307, P0308, P0309, P0310, P0311, P0312. The codes start with P03, the remaining digits pinpoint the cylinder in question, for example:
Code P0301 is related to a Cylinder Misfire on Cylinder Number 1, P0302 is related to Cylinder Number 2 and so forth.
