Computers running Mac OS do not automatically recognize that the removable drive is BitLocker-protected. With the BitLocker Reader for Mac, the user can unlock the BitLocker-protected drives by using a password or a recovery key and gain read and write access to their data.

Steps to read/write Bitlocker encrypted drive on Mac computer:
Step 1: Install the iSumsoft BitLocker Reader for Mac and then launch it.
Step 2: Plug the BitLocker encrypted drive into the Mac. If you are prompted that the inserted disk cannot be read by this computer, simply click the Ignore button.
Step 3: After the BitLocker Reader detected the locked USB drive, you can select the BitLocker encrypted USB flash drive and click the "Unlock" button.
Step 4: Enter the password and then click "Mount".
Note: If you forgot the password but have a BitLocker recovery key, you can use the recovery key file instead. Simply check the “Use Key File” box, then click "Open" to add the recovery key file to the tool, then click the Mount button to start unlocking USB flash drive.
Step 5: After unlocked the BitLocker encrypted drive, the flash drive will be mounted as a regular drive. You can operate it as you prefer, such as read and write files. What's more, this BitLocker Reader will be installed on the Mac. You can use uninstall this drive at any time when you don't want it.
Note:
In addition, iSumsoft Bitlocker Reader for Mac comes with an Attach feature that helps you install .dmg files on your Mac.
If you can't properly install the .dmg file on your Mac, just click on Attach, then browse to the .dmg file and select it, then click Open to install the .dmg file on your Mac.
