The Smithsonian Science Education Center, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), has developed a new rapid-response guide for youth called, “COVID-19: How can I protect myself and others?”

This guide, which is a part of the Smithsonian Science for Global Goals project, and is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, aims to help young people ages 8-17, and their community, understand the science of the virus that causes COVID-19 and other viruses like it. It will help young people figure out how this virus is impacting or affecting them or may impact them in the future, and it will help them understand the actions that need to be taken to keep themselves and their community safe.

Join this session to gain a better understanding of Smithsonian Science for Global Goals, the COVID-19 Rapid Response Module, and how to implement it in your community.
