Falcon 9 Reentry (March 25, 2021 -2100)
Reentry of a rogue second stage booster for one of Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets.
Launched on March 4th, this booster failed to make its de-orbit burn, so it floated around in orbit for 22 days before finally falling back into the atmosphere, half-full of fuel. It unexpectedly reentered Earth's atmosphere at exactly 2100 PDT (0400 UTC 3/25) and passed directly over Portland, Oregon.
