Don’t Choose Extinction: Listen to the Tyrannosaurus Rex at COP15
In case you missed my video of this T-Rex at COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, here he (she) is again strutting around proudly at COP15 in Montreal (CBD: Conference on Biodiversity).
I’m glad the kids have no apparent fear near this T-Rex, although they and we the adults should be very cognizant of his (her) message to “Not Choose Extinction”.
The dinosaurs did not exactly choose extinction 65 million years ago, since they had no technology to know the asteroid was coming, or to deflect it, and they had no prior knowledge of what it would do. We humans are different, since we have amazing technologies. If we happen to go extinct because is abrupt climate system change it will be because we made the choice to do nothing and subsequently go extinct.
