How to add text boxes in Google Docs that's what I'm going to show you in this video shapes and understand then keep on watching but if you're new to this channel welcome to the digital world in this channel we are trying to demystify the complexities of digital world by making the simple tacit orioles like this one so if you're interested then consider subscribing now how do add the text box and Google Docs unlike the Microsoft Word where once you in click the insert you get an option of the shapes and then from within these shapes you get a text box option which you can insert in the group microsoft word document but contrary to the Microsoft Word the text box is hidden within a drawing option once you will go to the drawing and click the new from here you will have all these options and over here you can see on the top right the text box option you just need to first draw this text option here here you should change the color of the text box and if at all you want to do a fill-in you need to do all the formatting here within the drawing option and once you are done you just need to press save and close and your text box will be inserted once you will click your a text box you will see that it can wrap with the text and it can go inline or it can break the text over and below the text box okay now once your text box is added if you want to write something within the text box you need to remember that you will not be able to write anything within the text box once it is inserted here as you can see that I am doing or typing but it is not inserting the text within the text box so all you need to do is that a game go click the edit and go to the drawing option and here you can add the text within your text box and you can press the save and close and that text box will be inserted while you can reduce the size of the text for here or you can make the alignment said you cannot do the formatting or inserting the text here for that you need to go to the edit and go to the drawing option so that's how you can add the text boxes in Google Docs thank you for watching this video if you liked this video hit the like button share and subscribe
