How do forces change an athlete's skiing speed? The forces of gravity, snow friction, wind drag and ground reaction (ski pressure) are visualised. Green for when they accelerate the athelete and red for when they brake the athlete. This is data from a real skier and part of my PhD thesis. Data was captured using fusion motion capture (FMC).
