In this MtoA/Nuke series I will be showing how to use the cryptomatte plugin for Maya/Arnold and Nuke using Maya 2018 and Nuke 11. I will be showing you how to get it to work using arnold instancing using aiStandin and MASH. Crypotmatte is a plugin which enables an easy way to generate different kind of masks for your rendered scene.
