Climate change is one of the most urgent social and political issues of our lifetime, but what kind of responsibility do filmmakers and other creatives have in leading this conversation and shaping wider social attitudes and responses?
Kumi Naidoo, Secretary-General of Amnesty International, led a discussion on the power of storytelling, its ability to affect social and political change and the importance of putting the climate emergency on the creative agenda.
He was joined by writer-director Scott Z. Burns (The Report); activist, actor and model Lily Cole, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Eco-Ag Livia Firth, playwright Duncan Macmillan (Lungs) and Chief Executive of Doc Society, Jess Search.
