How to Hang Video Lights from the Ceiling with Unistrut and Pipe
In this video we are going to show how I built a ceiling mounted lighting rig using pipe and unistrut. I recommend buying at least 3-4 lag screws per section of unistrut. Make sure you also get washers and hit the joists on every one of these.
You will also want a hackzall or sawzall to cut the unistrut in half. You might also need to cut your pipe depending on the size of your room, but I left the pipe at full length.
If you want you can also paint the unistrut black, I just thought the silver looked fine with the lighter colored ceilings.
