Customizing your LinkedIn URL
Creating a custom LinkedIn is easy to do, looks cleaner on your resume, and makes your LinkedIn profile stand out (and it's easier to remember, too!).
Here's how to do it:
1. Use our free Teal Chrome extension's LinkedIn Review tool and click the "edit now" button at the bottom.
2. That will take you to the part of LinkedIn where you can customize your public settings. We suggest using your full name in some capacity, whether you add in a dash or a number to differentiate yourself.
3. You'll also want to make sure that your custom LinkedIn URL is included on your resume, so copy/paste it from LinkedIn, head over to our free resume builder, and paste your link.
