February in Toronto - 2024
February is still a very cold month in Toronto. This year the temperatures ranged from -14C to 14C!! It was crazy how much the temperature fluctuated. We had one day of snow and then the next day it melted. We did get some heavy rain including thunderstorms.
In February we celebrate Valentine's Day on the 14th. This is the day I recommend you avoid restaurants unless you want to over pay for your meal. We also celebrate Family Day on the 3rd Monday. Although this is a holiday, ironically all of the Museums that are typically closed on a Monday open their doors and usually have extra family activities - usually for the 7 and under crowd. So if you are travelling with young children, it's a great day to go to the ROM or Art Gallery.
Otherwise, I would still avoid Toronto in February. The weather can be all over the place and still cold.
