Restoring A $7,000 Mansion: Finishing The Basement Rebuild (Pt. 1)
My 1917 mansion's basement needed a complete rebuild. Over the last several months we have been rebuilding virtually everything and we are now on the final steps. Today we are installing concrete supports for giant beams to sit on. Once we get our giant beams installed, we will be able to rip down a bunch of dividing walls and remove all the center posts, which will turn the what-used-to-be 5-room basement into 3!
