Weekends are our family’s favorite days, filled with slow mornings, fun activities, and making delicious food. Even though today was gloomy, we decided to head outside for some fresh air. I loaded our bikes onto the rack in the back of the car, and our first stop was my matcha latte—I really needed it today to wake up! 🍵
After that, we drove to a beautiful spot for a bike ride. The kids love being out in the rain, and while we usually see deer 🦌 along this route, today we weren’t so lucky. But the kids found some funny moss and other interesting plants to collect in their bike basket. 🌿 We also had a blast splashing in the puddles before heading back home. 💦
Since we were all soaking wet, we immediately jumped into the bath/shower🛁. The girls were super excited to use their new favorite mermaid shampoo and conditioner—it’s just so cute! 🧜♀️✨
Once everyone was clean and cozy, I threw together lunch with the kids’ favorite potato salad and some fresh fruit. 🍽️🍉 Then the kids snuggled up on the couch to watch “Minions,” giving me a little time to catch up on laundry. 🎥
It was a perfect rainy weekend filled with family fun! ❤️
