in the beginning of flight the 38 lbs Giant Hex lifted off like a feather in the wind with running 6- 6s lipos in witch 4 where two 3cell's connected in series with two standard 6 cells. The copter flew well for a maiden but after about 5 minuets of flight logged in on 2 cameras I did see a puff of smoke in the down thrust of air from one of the props and I then tried to get the craft out of the air as fast as possible but the esc had a blowout about 3 feet off the ground and the hex landed in the tall grass with no crash damage other than the esc on a lucky day!
