Alan wake is a 3rd person horror shooter created by Remedy Entertainment, with cinematic elements, a familiar reference to the games like Max Payne with trigger events and time dilation mechanics. The cinematics and voice overs are indicative of the same comic like presentation, well framed. The enemies in this game known as the "taken" react in very dramatic fashion through their dialogue lines. The sound design is of legendary composition, where the music the enviroment characters and effects are well mastered. The familiar "drum/ding" when you hit a checkpoint will really be a warm hope every time you reach the light.
