Niko, a Spanish learner, shares his language learning journey and experience with comprehensible input. He initially struggled with traditional methods and tried Duolingo and textbooks, but found them ineffective. In 2022, he discovered comprehensible input and started watching Dreaming Spanish videos. He gradually increased his daily hours of input and reached a point where he could understand podcasts without visual cues. Nico also started speaking practice with tutors from Worlds Across, initially doing 1-2 classes per month and later increasing to 10 classes per month. He plans to continue using Spanish in his daily life, read books, watch YouTube, and travel to Spanish-speaking countries.
