Last week’s vlog involved me capturing a focus stacked image of a beautiful moonrise over the Irish Sea. The post processing on this image was a real challenge, so in this video I am going to show you how I post processed the image and my specific method for best focus stacking results. Starting in Adobe Lightroom I will show you the base edits I made to my images before exporting them into Photoshop to focus stack the exposures. With complex stacking tasks such as this, the automatic approach to blending can let you down, so I will show you how to do it manually to get perfect pin sharp landscape photography results every time.

As always thank you very much for watching. I would be very interested to hear your own thoughts on Focus Stacking and how you Post Process your stacks? Do you have the same frustrations with automatic blending? Do you use other software packages? If you have not yet done so, please don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks :-)
