Understanding Scope: Root Scope - S04 EP02 - Deep dive into scope
The top level scope is called rootScope and all other scopes in all other controllers and directives inherit from rootScope.
You will learn how to bind to rootScope variables in templates.
You will learn how to inject rootScope into angular controllers and set variables directly onto it.
