The exercise is shown with a stop in the starting position (hanging from the top), as well as in the position when the legs are raised to the crossbar before touching the fingerboard, with a fair explanation of the technique of performing each element.
Learning is aimed at developing new motor skills in students and improving the technique of the exercise.
Assistance in learning an exercise is only provided to those who have difficulty in performing the exercise. Those who are able to raise their legs to the crossbar do not receive assistance; in this case, the attention of the manager is sent to control the correctness of the exercise.
Particular attention when learning is drawn to the position of the body, arms, legs and head when performing each element of the exercise.
Training (improvement) is aimed at consolidating the motor skills of the students, improving physical and special qualities. Training consists in repeated repetition of the exercise with a gradual complication of the conditions for its implementation and an increase in physical activity.
The main method of development of physical qualities of the trainees during training in raising the legs to the crossbar is the repeated method.
Help when learning.
 When lifting the legs to the crossbar, standing on the side and slightly behind, put one hand behind the calves, and the other one to hold the back of the waist. Help the learner to hold the legs to the bar to touch. When lowering the legs to keep them from a sharp fall.
Insurance organization. Standing at the side and slightly behind the student and not touching him to hold one hand behind the thigh, and the other - behind the upper back. To be ready to keep the learner at breakdown from the crossbar at the moment of raising the legs to the projectile. Touching the learner is only allowed to stop the body rocking.
