Notification Regarding News Circulated By Some Media House
Attention: All HOIs, Teachers, Students, Guardians and Stakeholders
This is for information to all concerned that news is being circulated and aired by some Media Houses regarding a sub-regulation (19 r) of recently published gazette notification on West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (Examination) Regulations, 2024 (published vide no l032-SL/SS-174/2024 (i) dated 20.08.2024) which says that "A candidate shall be held guilty of misconduct or malpractice, if he/she is found indulging in indecorous writing or indecorous drawing or political slogan in the answer script/OMR of the candidate."
This is further informed that this sub-regulation is not an abrupt inclusion, but a continuation of earlier notification on West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (Examination) Regulations, 2006; sub-regulation 18(q) (published vide no 184/SE(HS)/8C-2/99 dated 11.10.2006) Photocopy is attached herewith for reference.
