How to save your changes to a Router or Switch | How to copy running config to startup config CCNA
In this video I show you how to save your running config to your startup config. This saves all your changed you have made to a switch or router. The running config is lost when the device powers down, as it is stored on volatile RAM. The startup config is stored on non-volatile ROM so it gets saved
Steps
After you make whatever changes you want to save:
Go into user EXEC mode with 'enable'
Save your changes with 'copy running-config startup-config'
Press enter to save it to the path
All done!
