I find UMPCs (Ultra Mobile PC) useful on my commute, because you can use them even if you can't find a seat. Even sitting down, a traditional laptop isn't great on a busy commuter train because your elbows inevitably wonder into your neighbours' space.
The OneMix 3 Pro, with 4 cores, 8 threads, 16GB RAM & 512GB PCIe SSD, has a seriously useful configuration for productivity, but how does it compare to earlier UMPCs?
Sorry I forgot to reset the camera focus towards the end, but it's just my conclusion waffle anyway.
There's an error in my commentary in that the process on these Comet Lake Y chips is still 14nm, not 10nm which the Ice Lake chips use. Intel's numbering and nomenclature systems are so confusing!
