Timelines in Learning - Lesson 5 - Use the Form Data in your Timeline Spreadsheet
TimelineJS is an online website that will import data from a Google Spreadsheet data, images and videos into an interactive timeline.
In this course we will look at an online application that will create interactive timelines using Google Apps. These timelines can be used in any subject and can incorporate most media. We will explore the following:
Enter data into the timeline using a Google Spreadsheet
Giving your images a URL address to embed into the timeline
Using a URL to include videos in the timeline
Create a Google form to gather the data for a class project
This course is aimed at all teachers. A familiarity with Google Forms and Google Sheets would be an advantage.

Make a copy of this and rename it accordingly.

Copy the template, rename it and move this in a folder in your Google Drive
Close the template and open the copy.
Start enter the data into your spreadsheet
Enter an image and a Youtube video

Insert this link into TimeLineJS
Run the Timeline
Submit and embed your timeline

Upload your photos to Flickr and make the photos public
Use the URL in your TimeLineJS Spreadsheet

Enter some data
