Extracting PS2 (And PS1) BIOS From PS3 Firmware WITHOUT A CONSOLE Using BIOS CLAIM!
Thanks to an Anonymous author, there is now a simple 1 click tool to extract Playstation 1 and Playstation 2 BIOS from Playstation 3 firmware. Using Firmware Bios Claim, you are able to extract BIOS from any version of Sony's Playstation 3 firmware. These are distributed for free by Sony themselves, and are also available on many PS3 game dumps themselves. In this guide, I show you how to extract a fast-boot compatible PS2 BIOS from the latest 4.89 Firmware, with the same method working for all firmware versions.
