Ulm is a city in the south German state of Baden-Württemberg & one that we've had on our bucket list for quite some time! In the center of the historic old town is the huge Gothic Ulm Minster. Its steeple has views of the city and, in clear weather, the Alps! We didn't go up to the top due to construction, but the experience is highly recommended.
Germany is known for its half-timbered houses and Ulm has so many of them in the narrow alleys of the Fischerviertel. While here make sure to walk along the city wall next to the River Danube, and definitely try some Swabian food! :) It's a wonderful city and we now understand why everyone loves Ulm! :)
