Footloose is 1984 American musical and drama directed by Herbert Ross and written by Dean Pitchford. It tells the story of Ren McCormack who comes to a small town from Chicago and discovers that dancing has been made illegal. Starring Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, John Lithgow, Dianne West, Sarah Jessica Parker and Christopher Penn (!)
Oh wow, we loved this! The origins of Kevin Bacon and so much influence in the 80s!
Such a lovely feel good film and with good character intelligence and arcs in the drama.
