This week we are diving into the world of alla prima painting, which is basically just painting something on the first go. Alla prima painting is a great way to get over fussing and overworking your paintings. We will be looking at an image from the south of France. I'll show you how I cropped it, what I thought about for composition structure, and then how I painted alla prima from beginning to end.
