How to Animate a Flag using Physics in Blender | Tutorial

Steps to follow :
1. Add a Plane
2. Scale it up & Rotate it
3. Press Tab for edit mode
4. Right click and select Subdivide
5. Increase the number of cuts to 100
6. Select the first column of vertices
7. Go to the Object Data Properties and add a Vertex group
8. Hit Assign
9. Now go to the Modifiers & add Subdivision Surface Modifier
10. Increase the Viewport Levels to 2 and select simple
11. Go to the Physics Properties and give it a cloth modifier
12. Go to the Cloth Presets & Select Cotton
13. Scroll down to the Shape Properties
14. Select Our Vertex Group as a Pin Group
15. Under Collision Properties, check Self Collisions
16. Now add a Force Field - 'Wind'
17. Now place the wind according to the plane
18. Set the Wind strength to 5000
19. Now hit the Spacebar to play the simulation
20. Finally press Right click and select 'Shade Smooth'
