It is the LFA’s tradition to celebrate the body of work made by our students on the big screen at the iconic BFI, Southbank in central London, in the presence of distinguished industry professionals and special guest speakers.
We celebrated the outstanding filmmaking achievements of our BA, MA, and Diploma students with a spectacular screening of over 40 of their films in the gorgeous NFT1 theatre at the BFI.
Hosted by Danny Leigh (Chief Film Writer at The Financial Times), and with special guest speakers Jan Harlan (‘The Shining’, ‘Eyes Wide Shut’) and Sarah Gavron (‘Suffragette’, ‘Rocks’), our emerging filmmakers graduated in style as they embarked on their filmmaking journeys.
Our hands-on, practical, and immersive filmmaking courses are designed to produce versatile filmmakers who go on to change the world, one film at a time.
