Record & Replace Video Editing in Descript
Record & Replace is a new Descript feature that will make video creation and video editing easier for talking head videos, tutorial videos, reaction videos and any other type of video that includes a voiceover.
With Record & Replace in Descript, you can write out your script within the Descript editor (or paste it in from somewhere else) and then record over your script - all at once, or in sections. Your pre-written script becomes your teleprompter AND, once you've recorded, it will sync-up with the audio to become your transcript!
You can also use Record & Replace in Descript to redo a part of your video (whether you recorded it in Descript or anywhere else) and Descript's AI will magically accommodate the timing so the new recording won't overlap the video content before or after. The scenes will automatically be sized to the right length.
