The 3D Cube in After Effects
Rob Mize demonstrates the building of a 3D cube that can be animated in 3D space. Although there are plenty of tutorials on this subject, Rob also shows how to pre-compose layers to quickly customize the cube with graphics, video, text or all of the above. He also presents a solution to some tricky shadowing problems. This is a great project to learn the basics of building and manipulating 3D objects in 3D space.
