The lesson shows how to set up and tune a guitar in Reason 7, then how to create a chain of insert effects, in order to make a cool Guitar Pad sound. A guitar part is then created in F minor, explaining the chords and harmonic progressions in the intro, verse, chorus and bridge sections, which are then recorded along to the sequenced beats in the arrangement. This guitar part then forms the foundations of the song, from which all other parts are conceived.
