How to Control Mentions (@) in Threads and Protect Your Privacy ?
You can easily control mentions in threads for a more private and personal experience.
This helps safeguard your privacy and prevents unwanted or inappropriate tagging,
ensuring that only the people you choose can view your messages.
Here are the steps to access Mentions feature in Threads
1. Open Threads app
2. Tap on Profile Icon.
3. Tap on horizontal line at top right corner.
4. Tap on Privacy.
5. Tap on Mentions.
Under Mentions you will find 3 options.
1. Everyone
2. Profiles that you follow
3. No one.
If you select Everyone then anyone on threads can mention you.
If you select Profiles that you follow then only people you follow can mention you.
If you select No one then no one can mention you in threads.
