Many times when working in the Media Explorer you'll want to take some items from a database and copy them to another new database.

For this example I have a large database of every file used in a film mix. I'd like to have a smaller database of just the Room/Spaces/Backgrounds/Ambience used in the film.

* In Media Explorer options, enable searching metadata, and custom tags
* Enable option to update search when pressing Enter
* Search and refine search with OR, AND, and NOT conditions
* Create and name database
* Return to search bar and press enter
* Drag selected items into database

Right now, the method shown in this video is the best way to do it. I'm hoping this can be improved further in an update. Simply right-click menu action in search results to send to a new database would be ideal, sadly not implemented yet.
