Downloading SolidWorks parts from McMaster
Many parts that you purchase from McMaster or similar distributors will provide downloadable SolidWorks (and other CAD format) part models for you to use. Find the part that you will be using in the database, and then look for a "CAD" button. You will be given a choice of file formats, which can be downloaded.
