To watch Jordan Hawkins is to know who his idol was growing up: Ray Allen was as relentless as they came when it came to movement shooting and threatening the defense with off-ball activity and gravity. Rip Hamilton is another UConn Husky that comes to mind. Hawk’s touch and toughness are poetry in motion. His ability to be on balance regardless of which way the momentum is carrying his body amazes, his eyes are always locked on the target, his elbow rarely, if ever, flares out, and his follow through is picture perfect.
The former DeMatha Stag was Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year for the 2020-21 average 19.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game.
In his first season with the UConn Huskies, Hawk averaged 5.8 points in 14.7 minutes per game. The following season, that number jumped to 16.2 points in 29.4 minutes per game.
That being said, Jordan tallied 7.8 points in 17.3 minutes per game his first season as a pro.
His per 36 numbers from his rookie year 16.3 points with 36.6% shooting from deep on 9.2 3 point attempts.
Per Synergy, Hawk finished the season with 1.26 points per possession on off screen play types. He finished in the 87th percentile on PPP rank (27th overall).

Per Cleaning the Glass, Jordan attempted 49% of his shots on non-corner 3 point attempts which put him in the 94th percentile for his position and 17% on corner 3s (83rd percentile) so basically he understood his strengths as a player and his shot diet reflected that.
